These keep the portal working: the sign-in session, CSRF protection for forms, load balancing and remembering this very choice. They cannot be turned off, because the service does not work without them.
These remember your interface preferences — the language you picked, which menu sections you left open, list display options. The portal works without them, but you have to set these again on every visit.
These help us understand how the portal is used: which pages are visited, how long people stay on them, where errors occur. The data is aggregated and used solely to improve the service.

Sign-in and electronic signing are handled by the government services MPass and MSign, which use strictly necessary session cookies — without them you cannot sign in or sign applications. Data exchange with MConnect, MLog and the state registries (legal entities, individuals, company data) happens directly between servers and involves no cookies in your browser.
